I went to the movies with my parents a while ago to see The Descendants. I can’t say I liked the movie at all. It’s definitely getting a lot of its current positive attention because George Clooney is in it, but I don’t think it’s an award-worthy film.

After Midnight - blink-182
This album was a tad disappointing. It wasn’t good enough to make me want to put it on repeat. I give it a 4 out of 7.
Other Significant Tracks:
- Snake Charmer, which has a particularly catchy chorus
- Love is Dangerous
- Even if She Falls
Starfish Circus
I’m going to talk about the awesome show I saw last night now, while the second showing is happening, so I don’t spoil it for anyone who wanted to see it themselves.
I had no idea what to expect when I went to this show last night, besides that it was at DA and therefore would probably be extremely well-done. (It was.)
Basically, it was a mini circus show. On stage. And not every performance was professional, some were quite amateur in fact.
But the show was still really fun.
Honestly, fun is the best way to explain it.
And interactive. The audience was totally involved in the show.
The lights show with “Fireflies” playing comes to mind. As soon as the song started, people started singing along. It was hilarious. (And I was once again reminded that I might be the only person on Earth that doesn’t know the lyrics to it).
Also, “Smooth Criminal” was good. The crowd ‘oooh’-ed at the black guy doing some Michael moves. Of course.
And the rings performance to “Fever” was super fly. That was a song I could sing along to. (And I did!)
And of course, the dancing to the instrumental of “Telephone” was very tasteful.
Overall, the soundtrack to this show was great!
I can’t even remember how many moments of this show made me smile. (A lot.)
It was amazing.
Not the greatest thing in the whole entire world, but amazing for what I expected.
And I was entirely filled with envy at the acrobatic tricks those people had learned to do.
Totally respectable performance.

are the bomb!
Quite Helpful and not in the way at all. Actually, it’s hard to tell the difference in appearance with or without them. :)
I’m gonna miss…
CoCo. (A.K.A. Conan O’Brien.)
He was hilarious. His string dance and all the gestures he made during his monologues were some of the funniest things to come from any late night show.
For the record: Moving the time slots around was always a bad idea. When has a new time slot ever helped a show out??
Oh, and I liked him a lot better on Late Night than on The Tonight Show.
I really hate to see him go…
“Every comedian dreams of hosting the Tonight Show and—for seven months—I got to. I did it my way, with people I love, and I do not regret a second [of it] … All I ask is one thing, and I’m asking this particularly of young people that watch: Please do not be cynical. I hate cynicism, for the record it’s my least favorite quality. It doesn’t lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you’re kind, amazing things will happen.”—Conan O’Brien, on his departure from The Tonight Show, January 22nd, 2010.
The Hangover
Funny. Great one-liners, mostly from Alan. But definitely not a movie I absolutely love and will watch over and over again.

This is a great blog. The host does a really good job keeping up with it and posting good music. I check it often. :)

They’re quirky and fun.
And for the most part, correct.
What’s not to love?
